Brilhante is an undiscovered treasure in the eclectic Cais do Sodré, an invitation to elegance and the classic atmosphere of French brasseries. The kitchen emerges in the center of the restaurant, embraced by an imposing stone counter and the entrance is marked by a mirrored bar with an offer of more than 50 whiskey references. The star of the menu is Bife à Brilhante, a dish inspired by the classic Lisbon Bife à Marrare, a specialty immortalized in the famous cafes of the 19th century, and which now comes with a recipe perfected by chef Luís Gaspar and his team — a true secret of flavour and technique kept under lock and key.
